 Can diastasis heal on its own?  
In some cases, yes, but only in the early weeks.

Mild separation may close on its own within the first 6 weeks postpartum.
If you're still seeing a bulging belly by 3 months (or later), natural healing is unlikely, especially after multiple pregnancies. Without intentional rehab, the core often gets weaker over time.
 when is too late or too early to start tw?
It’s never too late even if it’s been years since you gave birth.

And if you’re at least 6 weeks postpartum, feeling good, and cleared of complications, you can start gently now.

How do I know if I have diastasis recti?
You can talk to a physiotherapist specializing in women’s health for a diagnosis, but you can also check for yourself if you think you may have diastasis recti.
 
Diastasis recti by the gap and depth of fingers. My own was 4.5 fingers wide and 2 knuckles deep. Lie on the floor and lift your head up, place your hand above your belly button and see if you can fit fingers in the gaps between your muscles.

Some signs you may have diastasis recti:
You still look like you’re pregnant, months or even years after giving birth
Back pain
Bloating
Wetting yourself
A weak core, leaving you unable to perform movements you once did with ease
 What is the time commitment for Tummy Warrior? 
We’ll build your plan around your life not the other way around.

Most workouts are 20–35 minutes, 4–5 days a week. Totally doable, even for moms with newborns, toddlers, demanding jobs, or no sleep.

This isn’t just about aesthetics,  it’s about feeling strong, healthy, and fully yourself again.
  what if diastasis recti is left untreated? 
No one can predict exactly but diastasis rarely resolves on its own past a certain point.

A separated core means a weakened core. And because your core powers everything — lifting your kids, walking, bending, chasing toddlers other muscles (like your back, hips, and pelvic floor) start to overcompensate.

This can lead to pain, leaking, posture issues, or more.

If you want a flatter tummy and a functional body, the root cause, not just symptoms, must be addressed.

The good news? It’s never too late to heal and rebuild with the right strategy.
How much weight will i lose?
Our clients usually see 0.5 to 1.5 lbs per week in steady weigh loss even if you are breastfeeding.

This is a high-touch program, not a cookie-cutter plan, so we treat every client as an individual.
Flexible payment plans are available, and we’ll make sure you have full clarity before you commit to anything.
  Do I need specialised equipment?
The Tummy Warrior program is designed for you to do at home with simple equipment including resistance loops, and a pair of medium and heavy dumbbells. However, you do not need equipment in the first 1-2 months.
Should i go for surgery or do tw program?
That’s a personal decision but here’s what to consider:

Surgery:

- Invasive, with risks of complications and long recovery (3–6 months)
- Typically costs $10,000+ depending on location and surgeon
- Requires childcare support, pain tolerance, and downtime
- Still requires post-op rehab to regain core strength
- Not recommended if you plan to have more kids

Tummy Warrior Coaching:

- Non-invasive, empowering, and tailored to your body
- Requires time and consistency (about 35 mins/day)
- Results build over time, and they last
- Helps you restore strength, function, and confidence from the inside out

Many moms choose to try coaching first  because you can always opt for surgery later, but you can’t undo it once it’s done.

  What if I have a hernia? Can I still join this program?
If your hernia is asymptomatic and doesn't bother you then you’re still able to complete this program. Please remember you cannot heal a hernia, it can only be surgically removed. You can protect your hernia by strengthening your core so it won't be worsened, and my program can help you achieve that. 
  What if I have a uterine prolapse? Can I still join this program?
Uterine prolapse is graded by its severity which is determined by how far the uterus has descended from 1st grade to the 4th grade. If your condition is 1st grade and you have already consulted a health professional for a treatment plan, we will consider taking you, but that will be determined during our free consultation.
  Will i have a flat stomach?
Every body is different so while I can’t guarantee a flat stomach in a set timeframe, here’s what many moms experience with Tummy Warrior Coaching:

  What's the difference between investing into your program Vs physiotherapist ?  
Great question and truthfully, they can work together. 

Here’s how they differ:

Visiting a Women’s Health Physio:

- Often limited to 1 session every 1–2 weeks
- Waitlists, travel time, and childcare needs can delay progress
- Focus is usually rehab-only (not full-body fitness or nutrition)
- Minimal support between appointments
